Privacy
Library data stays under its owner's control.
Library Haven stores account, collection, reading, circulation, and uploaded media data to provide the service. Libraries are private by default. Owners control membership and may separately opt into unlisted or public catalog visibility.
Visibility and access
Purchase prices, valuations, exact locations, member identities, and sensitive media remain private unless an owner deliberately changes their visibility. Platform support access is time-limited and audited.
Portability
Owners can export catalog data and create complete backups containing versioned JSON and authorized media. Account and library deletion require explicit confirmation and retention handling by the operator.
Security
Passwords are hashed, tenant access is checked server-side, and uploaded files are validated and stored outside executable paths. Deployment operators must configure HTTPS, private storage, backups, and SMTP.
